Area author, Ron Jolliff, has long been associated with
numerous historical groups in Shasta County, and has produced other local history books for the Shasta Historical Society. Today he will be signing his latest publication, 
Shasta County Copper Towns from 10:00-noon at 1449 Market Street, Redding, CA (be sure to observe COVID protocols, including social distancing & masks).

A Taste of History Virtual Fundraiser
June 7-13, 2021 8am-10:45pm, 

Annually, this event comprises a large portion of our budget and for a second year we unfortunately had to cancel the event. In Spring 2020 government grants helped us through year end, but Spring 2021 we are in the same financial position without the help of grants. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise $25,000 toward collections care, exhibits and general operations. Please help us reach our goal by donating to our Fund-A-Needs and participating in our online auction. Help us keep our wagons rolling! 

Auction Instructions:

▪ If you are not using a mobile device, you can still bid. For those preferring not to bid online, staff will be available to answer questions and assist with bidding Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on the weekend and final day of the auction (9:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday and until the auction closes on Sunday.
